Artwork guidelines:
Preparing your photos for upload with high-quality results
In order to help your product look it’s best, we are providing these artwork guidelines for your images.
Please upload a clear, high resolution, high quality photo where the subject is centered, zoomed in and focused. Your photo will be printed onto the selected shape using specialized durable UV-cured inks. On transparent items, such as acrylic keychains or ornaments, your image will be printed with a white underlayment. For image formats that contain transparency (such as PNG) any transparent areas will remain transparent and white will print white. Below is an overview of our photo to product process and some image recommendations for best results.
Recommendations:
- High Resolution:
A minimum 300dpi image is suggested, however 600dpi or higher is preferred for best quality. Note that most images found on the web are typically only 72dpi or 96dpi, which may not print well. - Aspect ratio:
Unless stated otherwise, photos should be cropped to have a 1:1 aspect ratio (square). - Recommended image size:
On smaller items, 1500×1500 pixels or higher is recommended. On larger items exceeding 8×8 inches, we would suggest using an image of 4000×4000 pixels or more. Higher pixels = larger image = larger file size = higher print quality - Contrast/Lighting:
Good lighting is key! Images with a good contrast between dark and light work best to avoid looking washed-out, dim, or oversaturated. - File formats:
We support TIFF, JPG or PNG images. Please convert any EPS or HEIC images to PNG or JPG. Transparency is supported on PNG files.
Please avoid using images that are too dark or light, oversaturated or blurry like those shown below.
Examples of poor image quality:
Avoid images that appear dark or with colors that are oversaturated.
Do not use images that are blurry or out of focus.
Avoid images that are too bright, washed-out, or contain pixelated areas.
No refunds or returns on custom prints
Please note that the image you provide will be used to print. We cannot alter/modify your image in any way. We cannot be held responsibile for poor quality image uploads. Special care instructions
Printed hard good items should be hand-washed. Do not place printed kitchenware such as tumblers, mugs or plates in the dishwasher. Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaning chemicals, as they can damage or remove the printed design.
